Dream gelding (horse for children and beginners) - With a heavy heart we have decided to give away our beloved gelding.
He is a gray gelding, born in 2003, according to the vet a Camargue (but there is nothing about the breed in the passport). He has a height of about 1,55m.
He is fantastic to ride in all three gaits, responds to the finest aids and is always patient and forgiving of many mistakes.
He has been ridden in English for leisure time and since about a year he has only been ridden cross-country, as we do not have an indoor riding arena or a riding arena.
I am sure that he has had a good training and can do much more than my child or me.
On the lunge line, as well as in free work, he is very fixated on his human and does everything when called. He always wants to please.
With us he was ridden almost exclusively by my daughter (9 years). He is always sweet with her even when she doesn't do things quite right. He always makes her feel like a good rider.
In the field he is absolutely fearless and a real life insurance. My little daughter also goes for big rides on the long rein with him and has never had an accident.
Until a year ago, she went with him regularly in school lessons, where he always showed himself exemplary and was allowed to lead the section almost every lesson.
He is just as well-behaved at the blacksmith as he is when being groomed or saddled.
All in all, there is nothing at all wrong with this horse when it comes to dealing with people.
The reason why we still have to part with him is that he absolutely cannot go out to pasture with mares. A year ago we brought our horses to our home and it came out that he was a Klopp stallion. We had him neutered about half a year ago, but this did not bring any changes in his behavior. He drives the mares one by one away from the group and mounts them.
For him and especially for our mares this means permanent stress and an increased risk of injury. He is now standing in the meadow individually, but we don't want to put him through that permanently, especially since our meadow is actually too small to separate an area for that.
He was in a pure gelding herd in a boarding stable before and did very well there. He would need something like that again. I don't want him to have to stand alone for the rest of his life.
In the stable he is in a box next to a mare, which works without problems. Only in the pasture he behaves very timidly towards the mares.
And then it remains to say that he has a slight beginning arthrosis on the left back, which does not affect him at all when riding and in everyday life.
This does not cause any additional costs and does not require any medication!
Only after work / riding he goes lame for max. 2 hours. After consultation with our vet, he can still be moved normally. He should even be moved regularly because of the arthrosis. After riding or working, he stands at the hay rack and relieves the leg until it is good again. By dinner time, he is already able to dash again.
If necessary, we can give his complete accessories for an extra charge of 600€. It is a very good condition Wintec saddle, his snaffle, some saddle pads (many Felix Bühler) halter, ropes, etc..

By arrangement I could also bring him within a radius of about 100km.

Please only serious requests and please no attitude, where he can only 2-3 hours a day out.
