Dressage saddle with adjustable chamber, 17.5 inch, brown - The Maxflex Maxeena was developed for professional riders. It can be easily adjusted in the chamber width with an Imbuss.
For the saddle tree I like to use the description of the manufacturer: The flex tree is made of polyurethane, a material that is flexible yet dimensionally stable. A steel spring frame provides additional dimensional stability and increased pressure distribution. Under appropriate circumstances and purposes, tree breakage is almost impossible. Despite the flexibility along the longitudinal and transverse axes, you cannot sit the tree flat. Particularly noteworthy is the lateral rotation capability to adapt to the movements of the horse's shoulder.

Information about the girth system from the manufacturer: We use a flexible V-girth and do not use front girth straps fixed to the comb iron. Our front girth strap sits under the camber spring. We are well aware of the propagated "benefit" of a front girth strap. Namely, it prevents the saddle from sliding forward and serves as a psychological flatterer for the rider. It does not hurt the rider, but it may hurt your horse even more. Very few people are aware that the damage that this form of girthing can cause is much greater than the benefit can ever be.
About the cushion: Our innovative sandwich pillows are lined on the inside with an exclusive foam and a net-like honeycomb structure and filled with wool**. They have 3 filling slots per side, so they can easily be reupholstered by us or a saddler. When selecting the leather for the cushions, we place great emphasis on a soft, pleasant feel.
In 2016, the Maxflex was the test winner in a saddle pressure measurement, see last picture. You can see very clearly how beautifully the flex tree in the front leaves the shoulder free in its freedom of movement. In addition, the very nice, large contact surface is recognizable. Last but not least, you do not see a single pressure peak or values in the elevated range.
