Friesian mare seeks new ❤️ human - It is with a heavy heart that we are selling our young Friesian mare due to time constraints. Our almost 3 year old Astra with impressive charisma and luxuriant long hair is very much in the old baroque type. She has a height of 1.61 (will be approx. 1.65) cm. She came to us a year ago fresh from the breeder, so she has never been in bad hands.
Astra is decent at the farrier, loads well and doesn't bite or kick. Despite her size, she is very easy to feed and gets by on hay, grass and mineral.
Astra can be worked every day, but doesn't react stupidly if she has a day off. She is a very willing horse who always wants to please. But of course you have to set her clear boundaries... she is young. She is currently only worked and trained from the ground, but she knows the saddle and bridle. She knows the basics . Lead training with trotting in hand, backing up and standing still are absolutely no problem for her. She can also park and walk sideways. We are currently working on lunging!
Astra is barehoof and currently lives here in a stall, but has also been in an open stable.
For private reasons we are unfortunately forced to reduce our herd, as she loves to be worked often and unfortunately she gets far too little time with us; this is the only reason why Astra is for sale. We have always been very happy with her character; she is a great horse who always tries to please her owner and is a lot of fun.
We would like to find her a great place with nice people in a species-appropriate environment. Place absolutely before price!!!!
