This 7-year-old handsome Haflinger gelding has been trained up to medium (M) level, is 1.56 m tall and has a lot of potential, charisma and enthusiasm for learning. Under saddle he is willing to perform and motivated once he has gained confidence in his rider.
Unfortunately, I don't get on so well with him on a daily basis as he has some difficulties that the previous owner didn't tell me about. Specifically, this concerns - Tethering is currently not possible (requires specific training) - Does not like to stand still when saddling and bridling - Difficulties when loading, but relatively calm during the ride
More about this in private. He is fully rideable and is currently undergoing further training. Should further progress be made, the price will understandably rise.
He is not a bad horse, but rather insecure, sensitive and very fine. With patience, consistency and the right caregiver, he will certainly regain confidence and be able to show off his good training.
As it would be a shame for him to just stand around, I would like to find him a loving home where he can be encouraged and given the time he needs to overcome his insecurities.
