Orscana ARIONEO temperature sensor - Orscana is a tool for monitoring the horse's health and well-being.
A sensor is attached to the horse's rug. The Orscana sensor measures data on the horse's temperature, humidity and movements around the clock.

Particularly practical: the sensor can be attached to any rug! This means you can use one sensor on several rugs. Thanks to the supplied pockets and the textile adhesive, any rug can be upgraded without damage.

And this is how it works:
The sensor is switched on and inserted into the pocket provided. The pocket with the sensor is then attached under the blanket at hip level. This point should be chosen because this is where the first sweat appears. This means that Orscana can immediately detect when the horse is sweating and reports it immediately.
A special fastening system consisting of the Arioneo Orscana pockets and the textile adhesive supplied enable the sensor to be attached to any rug. The system is designed to withstand the daily strain of the horse's weight.
The Orscana Pack comes with 3 pockets. As an alternative to gluing, a pocket can be sewn into the inner lining of each rug.

A separate profile can be created for each horse (1 sensor per horse) on the free Orscana mobile app.
The horse is tracked using Bluetooth and the free Orscana app on the smartphone. You now have an overview of your horse's temperature, humidity, movement and stress levels. Based on the collected data and an online weather report, the system recommends which rug to use.
A warning system informs you if the horse leaves its comfort zone: The app stores the data for 30 days.

The sensor transmits its data to the smartphone via Bluetooth within a range of 30 m. As soon as the smartphone has an internet connection, the data can be transferred to a server. The data can be shared with other Orscana users. In this way, friends can record and transmit their horse's data. It is also conceivable that the stable operator receives all the horse data and acts accordingly.

The transmitter batteries have a service life of around 6 months.

The free Arioneo Orscana app is free of charge and available in German, English, French, Spanish and Dutch.
