Dimensions: lead rope is approx. 3.45m long, the reins from knots approx. 1.35m
Between the knots at the front (nose up) approx. 20 cm and then sideways to the next knot up approx. 24cm
Worn by an Icelandic horse, I think it was Cob or Pony - unfortunately I no longer have an invoice for it.

Pat recommends the natural hackamore in levels 1 and 2 as the best aid for riding and as preparation for riding with a snaffle. By riding with the natural hackamore, the horse has already learned to follow a feeling and the rider has developed an independent seat without disturbing the horse in the mouth.

The natural hackamore is made from the same high quality rope as all other Parelli rope products. The integrated Horseman rein forms the reins and the lead rope. The natural hackamore therefore offers an ideal combination for ground work and riding.

The noseband is soft, making it comfortable for the horse when it is doing the right thing and narrow enough to be uncomfortable if it resists. The weight of the knot forms a hinge, creating a slow "feel" for the horse by releasing the reins quickly.
