Puzzle is basic ridden and can still be trained in any direction. With the right training, he can still learn a lot, for which he would be a perfect candidate. He has very strong nerves when ridden in a group, but still needs to be practiced on his own. He also knows how to lead ponies with children and go for walks in hand. As he is very intelligent, he needs a consistent caregiver in handling and under saddle. He is not suitable as a pure children's pony, but as he covers very well, he would be the perfect partner for experienced youngsters or smaller adults.
He is familiar with being kept in an open stable as well as in a stall overnight - he is absolutely compatible with the herd and fair to his fellow horses.
Puzzle has an equine passport issued in the UK by the "Dartmoor Pony Society". Of course he has been regularly wormed, vaccinated (tetanus), has been to the farrier (barehoof) and dentist.
