13 year old Quarter Horse (breeding) mare - 13 year old Quarter Horse (breeding) mare looking for 5* home Selling after long consideration my good Quarter mare (Madame Smart Ruby) height ca 148cm She knows children, dogs, tractors, trucks, etc. She is in every situation the calm itself whether at home or in strange environment, trailer drive and farrier is for her no problem. Ruby has insanely good hooves and is barefoot with us, but has also had irons. Have had her for 8 years and she has never had any health problems with us and according to the previous owner.
Circus lessons are a lot of fun for her and during ground work she is always fully concentrated and wants to please. Everyone who knows her appreciates her calm, balanced nature, so children would not be a problem for her.
She had with us 2021, 1 colt which can be visited with us with pleasure. (she is a very caring and loving mom).
She is of course registered with the AQHA and has an Austrian passport.
She is unfortunately partially lame, which is why she is only conditionally rideable. Our vets could not find any demonstrable reason during the examinations. When she was ridden, she was always a model horse and did not climb or buck. Would sell her as conditionally rideable or as a sibling or for breeding where she could possibly still be worked with from the ground and not just seen as an object, as she has earned the best home. She would also be perfect for children who are looking for contact with horses for the first time and want to get to know the horses, as she is simply a life insurance in any situation.
