4.5 year old Quarter-Appaloosa gelding - The very pretty 4.5 year old gelding (born 04.2020) is well broken in, masters the basics and already some difficult lessons. He learns extremely quickly and is very smart, he is always very alert and rather cautious. He has always ridden alone in the field and can also be ridden there bareback and only with a stable halter. Even when he was being broken in, he never showed any bad habits, didn't buck, didn't mount, didn't bolt, but was always very alert and heard and saw everything. In the arena he behaves in an exemplary manner and does everything that is asked of him. As he spent the first 2.5 years of his life growing up on a mountain pasture in South Tyrol without people but with 70 other horses, he needs a small herd more than he needs nice people. He has also been living in an open stable with us for 2 years and we must continue to allow him to do so. He is unhappy in a box. The gelding is perfectly healthy and has a very good conformation - no heavily overbuilt croup. A slight overleg on his front leg, probably due to a foaling accident, does not affect him in any way. He has no papers, but according to the breeder, he can be accepted into the Appaloosa Foundation if this is important to a new owner. The gelding was barehoof until a week ago. He has now been shod with Duplos for the first time, which is going very well. All vaccinations and semi-annual dental treatments have always been carried out conscientiously. The gelding is a lot of fun and has great potential. He will continue to be trained in natural horsemanship in order to remain as uncomplicated and willing to learn as he is now. In accordance with his age and weight, he can currently carry approx. 80 kg including saddle. He gets his new light suede western saddle (10 kg), bridle, hoof boots etc. free of charge.
