I’d prefer a “laid-back type” that my daughter could ride cross-country without any problems.
Gelding or mare—preferably a gelding. He or she must definitely be safe and confident on the trail, whether riding alone or with another rider!
Good pedigree and papers are irrelevant to me, as I’m really just looking for a loving leisure partner with whom I can spend many more wonderful years together. For leisurely rides, ground work, and free work. No competitions!
