Conical gelding - I am parting with my Konik with a heavy heart. We just don't warm to each other. Sometimes the chemistry between man and horse just isn't right. We've been on the same path for a few years now, but we keep stumbling over big obstacles. I think it's more down to me than my horse. That's why I'm looking for a new companion for this great character. Gasia is a 12-year-old, still somewhat pubertal late developer. He is very attentive, intelligent and loves to move. He is also very sensitive, people-oriented and always a little too close to you. He is a bit broken in, used as a children's pony. But he hasn't been ridden in all gaits. I have started to break him in from the ground, but always with longer breaks. He goes on the lunge, likes to do free work and also loves varied pole work. If he knows what you want from him and works with him in a friendly manner, he is happy to do everything and learns quickly. If you work with him consistently, he quickly becomes a great leisure riding horse and driving horse. Unfortunately, I don't have enough time as I ride other ponies and my daughter is not interested enough.
He is in a small herd with 3 other ponies in an open stable with paddock trail and is rather low in rank, with a tendency to dominate.
