Cuddly mare by RIVERO II - Hi, I’m Gaya, 12 years old, and I’m looking for a new home.
I’d love to find someone who loves cuddling just as much as I do. I could do that all day long—it feels especially wonderful on the legs. Unfortunately, I sometimes give a little jump when I get startled—I’m just hopping, though, and I never try to run away or anything like that. My mom broke me in herself, so I respond primarily to leg and weight aids. When someone’s sitting on me and we’re riding, I think it’s totally great and I’m really happy. However, you’ll need to make me feel secure from above—then I’ll move flawlessly and be an angel. I also love groundwork; I’m currently practicing half-pass—I’m already doing it pretty well on the right, but I still need some practice on the left.
I’m definitely up to date on my vaccinations, including herpes, I go to the dentist regularly (I went back in March this year), and of course I never miss my hoof care! Since I have really good hoof horn, I go barefoot and have no problems with it.
I didn’t really start getting used to a rider’s weight until I was 6 years old, so I was able to grow to my full height without any problems.
