They have served me well, but I no longer need them and they are too good to just lie around. They have normal signs of wear, see pictures, but are still fit for the next round Hoof boots for horses with sensitive soles. Which have to go through a changeover. This shoe can stay on the hoof for 24 hours. Hoof boots are made of very robust, breathable full-grain leather with a soft felt lining and a solid, 10 mm thick rubber sole. The full leather keeps the hoof boot breathable. For horses that scratch a lot or move a lot on hard ground, we recommend our stainless steel seam protector to protect the sole seam, as well as an extra bale strap for better grip.
The hoof boots do not affect the hoof mechanism due to their flexible design. If the hoof were placed in a rigid "plastic shell", it would not be able to deform outwards under load. This hoof mechanism is not affected by the "Engl hoof boot"! However, it is not suitable for riding or lunging.
