Leisure horse - It is with a very heavy heart that I have to sell my 6 year old thoroughbred mare. For purely personal reasons, as a few things have changed in my life. After taking her on, I retrained her professionally in Parelli and did ground work for a year to build up her muscles regularly. She can now be ridden off-road and in the arena without any problems. Her character is rather leisurely, so she prefers to walk instead of race canter, but she can also fire up the engine if you ask her to. Her basic training is solid and therefore everything is no problem; long, quiet standing tied up, respect in any situation, hoof trimmer, vet, loading, washing area, traffic. Despite everything, I wouldn't describe her as a beginner horse, she still needs clear leadership because she is always developing new ideas - just like a child. At the moment she is in a large group stall and goes barehoof. A place where she can realize her full potential would be ideal for her, gymkhanas, patrol rides, day rides and of course whatever else she would be involved in. She needs a caregiver with whom she can go through thick and thin and be who she is.
