Saphira was a pasture accident, so her father is a Konik and her mother a German riding horse. She will be 6 years old at the beginning of July. She has been with us since birth and now lives with her mother and two geldings in an open stable and in the summer 24 hours a day in the pasture. Before that, she also spent some time in a stall. She is currently 1.43m tall, according to the vet she could still grow another 1-2 cm.
She knows the farrier, vet, trailer, ground work, lunging in the arena and pasture, walks alone and in a group. Due to the late development of the conics, we only started practicing with a rider last summer. This was also very gentle. So she knows the rider's weight on the longe and has already accompanied me on short rides in the forest at all three gaits. I haven't ridden her in the arena yet, only lunged her so far.
So far she has had more of a lottery life, but you can tell that this is getting too boring for her.
She is rather fearless when being handled and approaches everything with curiosity. She currently loves to steal tools during stable work.
We would like to see her in supportive hands.
We are not under any time pressure, but we can see that Saphira needs meaningful activity. As she is in our open stable, it makes no difference whether she goes to a great home now or at a later date.
The price is absolutely negotiable, but she will not be given away. We can talk about everything in a suitable home.
Saphira is a horse that you could get ready now as you imagine.
