We are looking for someone who already comes from an open stable. If the following lines appeal to you, if species-appropriate husbandry is important to you, if you are not afraid of the stable work involved and if you are also happy to lend a hand outside of the stable, then write us a short description of yourself and your horse friend.
There is one variable or fixed stable day per week and an additional weekend day every 3 weeks. As the area covers 4,000 square meters and accommodates a maximum of 5 horses, a good 2 hours should be planned for this in winter.
Roughage is fed daily throughout the year from nets in the trail and a time-controlled hay rack in the paddock. A variety of horse-friendly leaves/roots/herbs are also available to the horses in the trail according to the season. Pasture is limited in the summer months, which is why the site is also ideal for horses with laminitis/metabolic disorders.
We have around 4,000 square meters of gallopable and freely available exercise area, which the horses are happy to use around the clock in summer and winter. The paddock is covered with paddock slabs in front of the entrance to the stable and the rest is equipped with special paddock sand, which is removed at regular intervals for maintenance and to avoid deep mud holes.
The bright open stable is freely accessible at all times, which is littered with forest flooring and offers the horses sufficient space to find shelter from the cold, wind, rain, sun or pesky insects.
A frost-proof drinking trough ensures that the horses always have sufficient and fresh water, even lukewarm water in frosty weather. We also have our own brine room, which can be used for a fee.
There is a floodlit riding arena and a round pen, which are also regularly cleaned so that no hooves need to be raked.
You also have the opportunity to get your horse ready in the dry and with light in the designated areas, and there is also a locker and blanket holder for your personal horse equipment. The tack room offers you additional space for your saddle and bridle.
We offer species-appropriate husbandry with appropriate expertise and gentle acclimatization for animals and humans.
