Filou's pedigree is peppered with highly decorated ancestors. His sire was licensed in southern Germany at the age of 2.5, but was sold and gelded after only one covering and provides important services in riding education with small children.
Filou's paternal lineage includes countless FN Bundessieger and national award-winning ponies such as BPrH Fussel, BPrSt. Prinzessin Paula, BPrH Pirat S, BPrH Flamenco, BPrH Admiral! Grandma Princess Paula has two licensed sons and two of her daughters were champion mares at the registration.
But the dam line also leaves nothing to be desired. His dam Balia from Spessart has all the titles you could wish for: Champion mare of the registration, state premium mare, federal premium mare, FN federal champion mare, champion mare of the Hess. Elitestutenschau, FN performance mare and elite mare. Balia has already produced 4 state premium candidates with Baghira from the Spessart, Basari from the Spessart, Bari from the Spessart and Bluna from the Spessart and a licensed son with Filou. Her last foal Faro aus dem Spessart (2022) was Champion Foal Partbred in Brandenburg-Anhalt.
Filou is a stallion with good tripartite conformation, a large shoulder with good angulation, strong and correct conformation and a beautiful pony face.
Like his parents, Filou comes from our own breeding program and all 4 grandparents spent a long time here.
His color is registered as bay, but he has spiky hairs and light areas in his longhair. On the sire's side there are several tiger pieds and on the dam's side there are pieds in the pedigree.
He knows how to be in the hand every day, is well versed in rural road traffic and walks calmly alone and with others.
As a result of his preparation for licensing, he is of course also familiar with other ponies and people, has been DNA pedigree tested, vet-checked and is fully immunized against tetanus and influenza.
I have to admit to myself that it doesn't make sense to keep him, my few mares are related to him.
He is kind and approachable, but still a stallion and knows it.
