PRE Mare for Sale - It is with a heavy heart that I am giving away my Raza Española mare. The reason is: unfortunately, she isn’t a good fit for my children. About her: She is 14 years old and has been living in Germany for about 5 years; before that, she was in Spain and apparently went through some difficult experiences. She needs to build trust, but once she does, she’s a wonderful horse. We’re looking for an open stable for her. Stabling her in a stall isn’t right for her—it makes her nervous. New things she isn’t familiar with also make her nervous, so she needs a confident rider. We once took her out cross-country with another horse—she’s lively and alert, and with practice, you’ll surely get the hang of it. She’s very sensitive and needs someone who understands horses; then she’ll be a wonderful partner. Unfortunately, she’s not a good fit for us, as we wanted a horse for the kids as well, but it just isn’t working out. Not everyone can just hop on her; she needs to build trust first.
