Selling our Norwegian - We are selling our Winnie (in passport Dally) into experienced horse hands. He is 8 years old and 1.51 m tall. Unfortunately we can't say much about his history. We bought him as a children's pony and 10000% reliable pony, unfortunately he is not. His hooves and teeth have just been redone, he is well-behaved in the stall and when we groom and spray his hooves, he goes along with us, he doesn't kick or bite. He is good at loading, at the dentist and farrier in familiar surroundings, but at the yard where he stood before it was very quiet. But we have now got this under control quite well. Funnily enough, he does really well with things like calmness training. He tests a lot and for a long time and is quite untrained, but we have already made some progress, so it would be a long way to go, so only to people with a lot of experience who are loving and consistent. We haven't had any riding experience yet, but I imagine he would be great as a trail pony. And in his free time on the arena, although I think you would have to invest time there too. Now to his problems, he has a small deformity at the front of both hooves which doesn't affect him but he always needs shoes at the front. We recently had him in the clinic because he was a bit lame at the front. No atrosis, tendons are also good. Either he had an inflammation, he is now lame or a small operation would be necessary in the future. Unfortunately, it turned out that he had a rehab episode and we have no way of keeping him properly. He also came to us very fat, but in the meantime he has lost a lot of weight, but he has not yet finished losing weight (last picture shows him at the beginning). The previous owner drove him in a carriage. Therefore, he also listens very well when lunged. We would like a lot of exercise, possibly in an open stable with hardly any development due to the laminitis. He needs a lot of exercise to keep him busy. Training has to be really gentle and slow, as he has just had a break. He gets along with other horses without any problems, he is not low in rank but not high in rank either. I hope we find someone who will give this sweet man a nice loving home and that he will not become a challenge cup, he does not deserve that. Unfortunately we don't have a saddle as the previous owners had a bad saddle with them. Snaffle and halter blanket we give with no dealers or schools. If everything fits, we will definitely agree on a price only in the best hands
